MENNEKES – 80 Years Young and Still Going Strong

This year, MENNEKES celebrates its 80th anniversary. We’ve grown from an electrical workshop opened in 1935 by Aloys Mennekes to a global company with a presence in over 90 countries, and we’re still run by the Mennekes family. In fact, the third generation of Mennekes family members are leading the company and all 1,000 of our employees around the world today.

“We wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for our people,” says Thomas Bodnar, MENNEKES USA VP and General Manager. “It’s the innovative minds of our employees who develop and support the reliable products our customers expect from the MENNEKES brand that have gotten the company here. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to identify business opportunities, deliver continuous improvements, and build strong, long-term relationships with our customers.”

To celebrate the company’s 80th anniversary, employees joined in on a special thank-you birthday party. MENNEKES might be 80 years old, but the company has the drive and determination as if it were just getting started. We prefer to think of MENNEKES as 80 years young. We still have so much life ahead of us! http://techinfo.mennekes.com/mtracking.gif
