Each receptacle unit has a horsepower (HP)-rated ON/OFF switch, coupled with a mechanical interlock mechanism, ensuring a safe way to plug and unplug equipment. Facilitating worker compliance, the easy-to-use handle enhances workplace safety since the switch can't be turned ON unless the plug is fully inserted. Conversely, operators can't remove the plug unless the handle is turned OFF. Available with 20A, 30A, 60A and 100A receptacles, MENNEKES interlock units are compatible with other manufacturers' like-rated IEC 60309 plugs.
